ARCWAY to bring ATO ultrasonic atomization systems to market
Building on 3D Lab’s work, the new company aims to deliver full AM ecosystems and on-demand metal powder production worldwide

ARCWAY has officially launched as a new commercial company focused on bringing ATO ultrasonic metal atomization systems to the global market. The company will also deliver complete additive manufacturing solutions and offer flexible, on-demand production of custom metal powders.
The company’s foundation comes from nearly twenty years of work in AM and 3D Lab’s development of the world’s first compact ultrasonic atomizer. ARCWAY combines that proven technology with a global business structure designed for wide-scale distribution.
Originally, 3D Lab began as a small prototyping studio serving the architecture and medical industries. Over time, it evolved into a major R&D and manufacturing company, creating the first compact ultrasonic atomizer – ATO. As 3D Lab grew, it expanded the ATO product line and built deep expertise in AM. Today, 3D Lab continues its research and production work, while ARCWAY now focuses entirely on global business development and delivery of ATO systems.
ARCWAY distributes the complete ATO product family, which includes systems for melting, ultrasonic atomization, sieving, cleaning, and handling. These modular and compact devices enable local production of high-performance metal powders. Beyond selling equipment, ARCWAY provides full AM ecosystems – ready-to-run workflows that meet facility and certification needs – helping customers move from prototyping to reliable, industrial-scale AM production.

A key part of ARCWAY’s offering is its on-demand metal powder production service. Using ATO ultrasonic atomizers, ARCWAY can create powders from virtually any alloy and from various feedstock forms such as wire, rod, ingots, scrap, or irregular shapes. Each powder can be customized for use in different AM technologies, including LPBF, DED, binder jetting, MIM/PM, brazing, and thermal spraying. Because there’s no minimum batch size, this service is ideal for research, material testing, and small-scale manufacturing. Ultrasonic atomization produces highly spherical particles with controlled size distribution and excellent flowability – qualities that directly improve the final part’s performance.
“ARCWAY and 3D LAB are two sides of the same coin, one focused on innovation, the other on global delivery. Together, they form a complete ecosystem for advanced manufacturing. I’ve always believed that great technology deserves great distribution. ARCWAY is built on that belief, to connect, deliver, and grow,” said Jakub Rozpendowski, CEO of ARCWAY. “Additive manufacturing is no longer just about prototyping, it is about precision, repeatability, and industrial scalability. With ARCWAY, we are making sure that ATO technology reaches every corner of the world where innovation matters.”
