Angelelli Automobili presents 3D printed Ducati motorcycle frame
To be displayed at the upcoming EICMA show, the Titan-Alu Panigale V4 frame was 3D printed by WEAREAM
At the 2024 EICMA Motorcycle Show, Angelelli Automobili is redefining luxury and precision engineering with the unveiling of a unique 3D printed frame for the Ducati Panigale V4, which was originally designed back in 2020 by Davide Angelelli. The frame, crafted with the brand’s proprietary “Alien Mesh Design” software, leverages AI-driven generative design and topological optimization to produce a seamless, monolithic structure.
The Ducati Panigale V4 frame was 3D printed in collaboration with WEAREAM, led by Maurizio Romeo and Paolo Folgarait. It combines advanced additive manufacturing and bespoke algorithms to deliver a structure that is lightweight and resilient. Designed with precise engineering, this innovative frame pushes the limits of performance by removing the need for traditional production methods such as molds, resins, welding, or CNC machining.
