AMUG names Toyota’s Dallas Martin president for 2026–2027 board term
Members elected three leaders and the board appointed two for the 2026–2027 term
The Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG), a member-driven additive manufacturing nonprofit, has filled five leadership roles on its 2026–2027 Board of Directors through member elections and board appointments.
William “Dallas” Martin will serve as President, Daniel Landgraf as Vice President, David Leigh as Treasurer, Bruce LeMaster as Director at Large, and Daniel Braley as Director of Membership. Members elected Martin, Landgraf, and Braley, while the board appointed Leigh and LeMaster. The multi-year terms begin today, July 1, 2026.
Elected leaders and a returning vice president
Martin, the incoming President, is a Senior Engineer in additive manufacturing at Toyota with 27 years in the field. He first attended an AMUG conference 12 years ago, serves on the Sponsor & Exhibitor Committee, and received the group’s Distinguished INnovator Operator (DINO) Award in 2025.
“I’m honored and grateful to have been elected to serve AMUG and its members. AMUG means a lot to me because it brings real users together to share real experiences, challenges, lessons learned, and wins. That is what makes this community so special,” Martin said.
Landgraf returns to the board after serving as Director, Sponsors & Exhibitors. He is Vice President Global Sales, Marketing & Business Development at 3D Spark GmbH and has 11 years in AM, volunteering with AMUG since 2019. Landgraf received a DINO Award at the 2026 conference.
Braley, Senior Manager – Engineering & Depot Solutions for V2X Modernization & Sustainment, has 16 years in AM and co-chairs aerospace and defense sessions on the Track Leader Committee. He also received a DINO in 2025.
Appointed seats and outgoing officers
For the two appointed positions, the board selected Leigh and LeMaster, longtime AMUG participants and DINO recipients in 2004 and 2007, respectively. Leigh, the incoming Treasurer, directs the Center for Additive Manufacturing and Design Innovation at The University of Texas at Austin and founded the SLS Users Group, which merged with AMUG’s predecessor organization. LeMaster, returning for a second term as Director at Large after his 2024 appointment, chairs the DINO Selection Committee and founded an AM service bureau 30 years ago.
Shannon VanDeren and Robin Van Bragt, each completing three years as President and Treasurer, will move to ex officio roles as Immediate Past President and Immediate Past Treasurer.
“I’m excited to serve alongside a board of passionate and talented leaders who care about the future of AMUG,” added Martin. “There is a lot of important work ahead. I want to help build on the momentum created by the last board by supporting our members, giving users the tools and knowledge they need, growing the next generation of additive leaders, and keeping AMUG focused on what it does best: bringing people together to learn, connect, and move the industry forward.”
The board will now build out the program for the 2027 AMUG Conference, set for Atlantic City, New Jersey, from March 14–18, 2027.
