AML3D and Arc Additive Limited enter distribution partnership
The strategy includes leveraging AML3D’s existing manufacturing capacity in Australia and planned capacity in Europe to support the UK and European defense markets
AML3D, a developer of industrial metal AM technology, has appointed Arc Additive Limited (Arc) as a non-exclusive, UK and Europe distribution partner. The partnership with Arc, a Scottish-based supplier of large-scale WAAM solutions, will run for two years.
AML3D announced plans to invest AUD$5 million in establishing a European technology base as part of its growth strategy, following a successful capital raise in late 2024. AML3D has received strong demand signals from the UK defence market, similar to those that underpinned AML3D’s successful entry into the US defense market, and signed a material feasibility contract with BAE Systems UK in the June 2025 quarter.
The appointment of Arc is expected to accelerate AML3D’s growth strategy. This strategy includes leveraging the company’s existing manufacturing capacity in Australia and planned capacity in Europe to support the defense markets of AUKUS partners, the UK and Australia, and other globally significant defense and manufacturing markets.

This distributor partnership with Arc is a great example of this work. Building our distribution capabilities across the UK and mainland Europe will help us to convert the strong demand in these markets to contract wins. My expectation is [that] the alloy testing contract we have already signed with BAE Systems in the UK is just the beginning.”
