AM Solutions joins ColdMetalFusion Alliance
The Rösler company is beginning to develop its offering with ColdMetalFusion partners to achieve optimal removal of powder and cleaning of 3D printed green parts

AM Solutions, a brand of the Rösler Group, has joined the ColdMetalFusion Alliance, together with other major industry players. With its decades of experience in the post-processing and finishing of surfaces, as well as its broad know-how in additive manufacturing, Rösler’s AM Solutions plans to make 3D post-processing more reliable and robust. AM Solutions -3D post-processing technology joins ColdMetalFusion together with partners from the sintering, industrial manufacturing, and 3D printing fields.
The company is beginning to develop its offering with ColdMetalFusion partners to achieve optimal removal of powder and cleaning of 3D printed green parts. Core competencies also include the removal of support structures, as well as surface homogenization, smoothing, and polishing. By taking advantage of these rich technical capabilities, AM Solutions can support its customers throughout the product development lifecycle – from conceptual design to production.
The ColdMetalFusion Alliance is a consortium of industry leaders with decades of experience in the fields of sintering, 3D printing, and classical industrial manufacturing. Together, the Alliance members provide services, equipment, material, software, and know-how to customers in the metal manufacturing industry.
“Through the use of its broad portfolio of finishing and post-processing technologies, AM Solutions – 3D post-processing technology will offer complete end-to-end support across the key process phases of ColdMetalFusion, and thus become a key enabler for digital manufacturing beyond the one million parts threshold. Our products not only guarantee significant productivity increases and cost savings, but they also provide the stability and process robustness required for industrial manufacturing. We are industrialists by heritage, and as such share many values such as trust, reliability, and innovation with the other ColdMetalFusion Alliance members. This shared culture is one of the reasons we have decided to join the ColdMetalFusion Alliance, and I’m looking forward to all the great synergies we will be able to exploit,” said Stephan Rösler, CEO of the Rösler Group.
ColdMetalFusion’s vision is to industrialize sintering and additive manufacturing through the introduction of common standards. ColdMetalFusion Alliance members not only share standards, but they also share a common culture and way of thinking. As ‘industrialists’ with a long pedigree, the members have long-standing experience in 24/7 factory operations.
At the Formnext exhibition in November in Frankfurt, Germany, ColdMetalFusion Alliance members will demonstrate their mission of industrializing sintering and additive manufacturing.
