AM-Platform joins Addliance as a Core Member
The European additive manufacturing community network becomes part of the European AM Hubs Alliance
AM-Platform, a European community for additive manufacturing, has joined Addliance, the European AM Hubs Alliance, as a Core Member. Addliance also announced at the same that Paula Queipo RodrÃguez, Deputy Coordinator of AM-Platform, will be the organization’s representative in the alliance.
Addliance said it had held several strategic conversations with Queipo RodrÃguez in recent weeks, focusing on ways for the two organizations to cooperate and build a more coordinated AM community across the European Union (EU).
AM-Platform has been active since 2007, making it one of Europe’s longest-standing and largest AM communities, with more than 500 stakeholders in over 25 countries, and contributing to the coordination, development and strategic understanding of AM across Europe.
“Industrial adoption of AM is a collective journey. Real transformation only happens in networks and is there where Addilance and AM-Platform come together. Because AM matters,” said Queipo RodrÃguez.
Addliance said that its overall aim is to move Europe to the forefront of global AM through collaboration, knowledge exchange and a stronger European voice for the technology. The alliance says AM-Platform’s entry combines decades of European community building with a newer generation of cross-border collaboration.
