In the heart of Teatro Arcimboldi Milano, the Bcc Milano Lounge Teatro Arcimboldi Milano comes to life—a bold and visionary project curated by architect Martina Pozzi and designer Alessio Elli, who completely reimagined the lounge area using 3D printed furniture created with LFAM technology. This pioneering approach to interior design blends art, technology, and sustainability to create a unique space that reflects Bcc Milano’s cooperative values and Milan’s dynamic spirit.

A dialogue between theatre, design, and innovation

The concept draws inspiration from the symbolic value of space and the transformative energy of design. Influenced by dance, nature, and the fluidity of movement, the lounge unfolds into four relational zones, each centered around a piece from the Tork collection, designed by Karim Rashid for Elli, paired with the elegant finish FENIX NTM Rosso Askja. These design elements serve as visual and thematic connectors between areas, establishing a continuous dialogue with the theatrical architecture.

Also central to the lounge are seating pieces designed by Alessio Elli and 3D printed using LFAM technology, such as the Double armchair, winner of the Archiproducts Design Award for Sustainability 2024, and the modular ZERO system, which earned both the Archiproducts Design Award for Sustainability 2023 and the German Design Award 2025. Both products are complemented by Dekton by Cosentino surfaces, reinforcing the project’s commitment to sustainability and refined aesthetics.

The Elli x Bcc Milano Lounge is conceived as a fluid, welcoming environment designed for institutional meetings, moments of interaction, and hospitality before and after performances. Every detail was crafted to express the soul of Bcc Milano, a cooperative bank that looks to the future while honoring its deep local roots—not by raising its voice, but through a solid and consistent presence.

The lounge’s organic and sinuous forms evoke the movements of a dancer spinning through space, like a “tumultuous dance of a tornado,” where surfaces and volumes become a symphony of interwoven lines. This design goes beyond function; it tells a story of transformation, where technology and nature find new harmony.

Elli Design as experience

Through the use of innovative materials such as FENIX and Cosentino, and by leveraging large-format additive manufacturing (LFAM), the lounge becomes more than a physical space—it becomes a manifesto of a new design philosophy: faster, more sustainable, and deeply personal. The goal was—and remains—to create an environment where design speaks, inspires emotions, and fosters authentic relationships with a diverse audience of institutions, entrepreneurs, artists, and media.

Born from the agreement between Bcc Milano and TAM, officially announced in a press release in January 2025, the Elli x Bcc Milano Lounge represents a fresh vision of corporate and cultural hospitality: inclusive, custom-designed, and fully connected to the city and its transformations.
