# Addliance launches AMin4Y four-year Strategic European AM Roadmap

[Addliance–The European AM Hubs Alliance](https://www.voxelmatters.com/the-world-of-am-is-uniting-for-the-first-global-am-hubs-summit/) is developing AMin4Y European Additive Manufacturing Roadmap, a four-year initiative to create a common industrial framework for additive manufacturing across Europe. The project targets fragmentation in the European AM sector, where national initiatives have advanced without consistent coordination between industries, research organizations, and public institutions.

Those priorities include competitiveness, sustainability, talent development, investment, industrial deployment, and policy alignment.

Despite a strong technological base across European countries, the AM sector has largely developed in isolation at the national level. Addliance identified the absence of cross-border coordination as a structural obstacle to Europe's ability to compete globally in advanced manufacturing. The roadmap initiative seeks to bridge those gaps by establishing a common reference point for the diverse actors operating across the continent.

Addliance opened the roadmap process to contributions from across the European AM community, inviting companies, institutions, and individuals to share their perspectives and help shape the initiative's direction. The organization stated that broader input would produce a more representative and effective final document.
