ADDITIV Medical 2024 returns to France for fourth edition
The virtual exhibition is scheduled for May 28, and the physical meeting on June 5, at 3D PRINT Lyon
ADDITIV Medical France has announced the return of its event dedicated to 3D printing in the medical field. Following the success of previous editions, the virtual exhibition is scheduled for May 28, from 9am to 1pm. The event offers a unique opportunity to meet industry professionals, take part in panel discussions and workshops, and schedule business meetings with experts in the field. The virtual event will be complemented by a physical meeting on June 5, 2024, from 3:30pm to 6:30pm at 3D PRINT Lyon.
The growing presence of 3D printing in the medical field is constantly evolving, with an estimated value reaching $4.9 billion by 2026, according to an analysis by Research & Markets. Today, this technology offers a wide range of applications, from prostheses and implants to bioprinting and the creation of personalized anatomical models. ADDITIV Medical France is the ideal event to explore the latest trends in this constantly expanding sector. The fourth edition promises an enriching, entertaining, and immersive experience dedicated to medical 3D printing.
The 2024 program
After bringing together over 800 visitors and some 20 speakers in 2023, the 2024 edition promises to be rich in content. Three panel discussions and three workshops are accessible to users and sponsors – all on a brand new dedicated virtual platform, Swapcard. Swapcard offers innovative functionalities, providing access to on-demand content that can be consulted before, during, and after the event. It also lets users schedule business meetings at any time.
Conferences will cover a variety of topics – looking at the industrialization of medical devices, and highlighting the technical and regulatory barriers to be overcome. The various applications of 3D printing in oncology will then be explored – concluding with an analysis of the issues and challenges of 3D printing in implantology.
The physical event, scheduled for June 5, in Lyon, includes a round-table discussion and networking over cocktails. The event will offer an opportunity to interact with 3D printer manufacturers, material suppliers, printing services and, healthcare manufacturers and practitioners.
Ludovic Benichou, maxillo-facial surgeon and stomatologist at Paris Saint-Joseph Hospital; Benjamin Benichou, a dental surgeon in Paris; Delphine Prieur, head of the APHP 3D printing platform; and Sophie Brac de la Perrière, CEO and Co-founder of the regenerative medicine company Healshape will all be taking part.
3Dnatives will be supported by Boston Micro Fabrication, an American manufacturer specializing in micro-precision 3D printing; Arburg, a developer of granular 3D printing solutions; and Sculpteo, one of the market’s leading 3D printing services. The event is also supported by partners including DeviceMed, Journal International du Médecin, and France Additive.
