ADDIT3D emerges as a key event for AM in Spain

Stay up to date with everything that is happening in the wonderful world of AM via our LinkedIn community.

Major international brands in the additive manufacturing sector with industrial applications will be present at ADDIT3D 2019, which will take place at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre from 4 to 6 June 2019. The exhibitors taking part include big firms such as HP, SLM Solutions, Stratasys, EOS and TRUMPF, as well as top rated companies like Dynamical Tools, Addilan, Optimus 3D, Hage and Sicnova, who will be presenting interesting new developments in the sector, mainly in the “systems and machinery”, “industrial applications” and “materials” categories.

The professional profile of the visitors at this unique industrial trade show focusing on additive manufacturing and 3D printing in Spain will be related to sectors such as aeronautics, automotive, railways, industrial tooling, machine-tools, molds, energy, packaging, construction and the medical-surgical sector, among others. Most of these sectors have adopted these technologies, and have even applied them to serial manufacturing, and are working with complete industrial applications. To date, the list of companies registered as visitors includes CAF, Bombardier, European Holding, Mercedes Benz España, EvoBus, Grupo Gestamp, Grupo ITP, Patentes Talgo, Aernnova, Alestis Aerospace, Volkswagen – Seat Group, Danobat Group, Lab. Dental Lamberti, Creaciones Dentales Van Nood and Osteophoenix.

In this fourth edition, ADDIT3D will combine the exhibition and product presentation area with a conference, therefore turning into space to find information, analyze technologies and markets, study opportunities and internationally promote companies and products. The event is the best reflection of the intense development that the sector is experiencing, which has an estimated growth rate of 20.6% up to 2022.

The conference space, coordinated by ADDIMAT, the Spanish Association for Additive and 3D Manufacturing Technologies, will host the latest edition of Additive Talks. The talks will address the major challenges, new trends and developments in the sector, providing innovative solutions and responses to improve the product value chain. To do so, representatives from leading companies in the sector will share their knowledge in the talks and will transmit their experience from success stories in this field. ADDIT3D is aimed at companies that are in the first phase of integrating this technology and those that are already working with it but need more modern developments and seek specific applications in parts, materials, software and design solutions and CAM.

Going even further than this event alone, in June 2019 the Bilbao Exhibition Centre will become the largest international meeting point for industrial manufacturing processes and supplies, a unique space that will offer visitors the possibility to take an eye-opening tour through the other international trade shows that will take place at the same time, including INDUSTRY TOOLS by FERROFORMA, the International Industry Tools and Supplies Fair; SUBCONTRATACIÓN, the International Fair of Manufacturing Processes and Equipment; PUMPS & VALVES, the International Trade Show for Pump Systems, Valves and Equipment for Industrial Processes; MAINTENANCE, Industrial Maintenance Fair; BeDIGITAL, the forum dedicated to the industrial application of digital technologies; and FITMAQ, the International Fair of Bargain & Used Machinery. Highly specialized visitors and more than 1,400 exhibiting companies from all over the world will be taking part.
