Addireen, a Shenzhen-based metal additive manufacturing provider specializing in copper and Green Laser 3D printing, launched Addireen Now, a proprietary online platform that gives engineers direct access to industrial-grade metal AM production. Engineers upload CAD files and receive instant pricing and lead times—with the entire workflow, from DfAM review through post-processing and quality control, handled by Addireen’s in-house team and integrated supply chain.

While the platform covers titanium and aluminum alloys, copper is the material where Addireen’s technical depth is most concentrated. The company was founded specifically around copper AM, backed by nearly 20 years of laser R&D expertise, and its Green Laser PBF process addresses one of the persistent challenges in metal AM: processing highly reflective metals like pure copper and copper alloys reliably and at production scale.

The platform’s workflow begins before any machine runs. Process engineers review part geometry to define print parameters and provide DfAM guidance, ensuring the design is viable at the intended production scale. Parts are then manufactured at a facility with more than 100 industrial metal 3D printers — a capacity that supports both low-volume prototyping and direct scale-up to mass production, without the supply chain fragmentation that typically complicates metal AM procurement.

Printing is only the first step. Addireen manages the complete post-processing cycle, coordinating CNC machining, surface roughness control, and specialized treatments through a combination of internal engineering and a vetted external supply chain network. Output undergoes rigorous quality control, including high-precision dimensional inspection and internal defect detection, ensuring parts are ready for deployment in aerospace, transportation, and thermal management applications.

“We’ve always believed that the value of metal AM isn’t just in the printing itself — it’s in delivering a part that is actually ready to use,” said Yujing Xu, Global Sales Director at Addireen. “We want to help our customers navigate that crucial last mile of production. Whether it is a lightweight titanium bracket or a complex aluminum heat exchanger, we take a complex printed shape and turn it into a stable, reliable product through continuous testing and workflow optimization.”

Addireen’s founding focus on copper AM shapes the platform’s positioning. Standard laser PBF systems struggle with highly reflective metals: pure copper and copper alloys absorb infrared laser energy poorly, leading to inconsistent melt pools and defect-prone parts. Green Laser PBF addresses this at the physics level by using a shorter wavelength that copper absorbs more efficiently, producing denser, more consistent parts. Addireen extended that capability to refractory metals—tungsten, tantalum, and niobium—materials that present similar processing challenges and are increasingly relevant in defense, energy, and semiconductor applications.

Alongside the Addireen Now launch, the company released a technical whitepaper on thermal management in Green Laser PBF, presenting empirical data showing a 28% increase in efficiency for liquid cold plates by eliminating brazed joints. The result points directly at one of copper AM’s strongest applications: thermal management hardware, where conductivity, geometric complexity, and the absence of bonded interfaces translate into measurable performance gains.

The current material portfolio on Addireen Now includes Ti6Al4V, AlSi10Mg, 6061 aluminum, pure copper, and copper alloys. To mark the launch, the company is offering new corporate and institutional users 10% off their first order, capped at $50, for engineers who register on the platform.
