Addireen, a Chinese hardware company specializing in LPBF copper 3D printing systems, has unveiled its latest machine, the ADDIREEN 400G. Equipped with four synchronized green lasers and a large build volume of 400 × 400 × 400 mm³, it has been developed to set new standards in precision, scalability, and industrial reliability 3D printing for highly reflective materials such as pure copper and copper alloys. It is designed for maintenance-free operation and continuous production.

Targeting industries such as aerospace, electronics, new energy vehicles, and data centers, the ADDIREEN 400G enables the large-scale production of complex, high-performance metal components with unmatched accuracy. At the heart of the ADDIREEN 400G lies its four-laser coordinated printing system. These lasers work in harmony to print across the entire build area, dramatically reducing build times while maintaining precision and accuracy. This enables manufacturers to scale production without compromising quality, a crucial feature for industries that require both large and intricate parts.

The 400 × 400 × 400 mm³ build chamber enables the manufacture of large copper parts as a single, seamless piece. For industries where copper’s thermal and electrical conductivity are critical, the ability to produce large, intricate parts in one go represents a key advantage. Another standout feature of the ADDIREEN 400G is its adjustable laser spot size, which ranges from 20 to 40 microns. This flexibility enables engineers to strike a balance between speed and precision, depending on the complexity of the design. It also allows the creation of micro-channels and other delicate structures that require extremely fine resolution. The green laser’s superior absorption rate further enhances this capability, ensuring energy efficiency and reduced material waste during printing.

Copper has long been a challenge in additive manufacturing due to its high reflectivity, which makes it difficult to process with conventional infrared lasers. The ADDIREEN 400G utilizes green laser technology, which enables high levels of energy absorption, resulting in faster print speeds of up to 120 cm³ per hour, reduced spatter, and consistent results. Manufacturers benefit from both efficiency and performance, enabling faster turnaround times without compromising part quality.

Addireen launches the ADDIREEN 400G, a four-green-laser 3D printing system with a 400×400×400 mm³ build volume. Built for aerospace, electronics, and new energy, it redefines precision, scale, and maintenance-free metal additive manufacturing.

The performance of the ADDIREEN 400G is demonstrated. Parts produced on this system have been shown to achieve densities of 99.8% or higher, with electrical conductivity values reaching approximately 101% IACS and thermal conductivity near 390 W/(m·K). The system is also capable of producing parts with a minimum wall thickness of just 0.08 mm, allowing for exceptional precision in fine structures. These results highlight its ability to deliver industrial-grade copper and alloy components that meet the highest functional requirements.

For optimal reliability, the ADDIREEN 400G is built with highly customized green optical components that ensure beam stability and long-term performance. Its maintenance-free structure supports uninterrupted 24/7 operation, making it ideal for large-scale manufacturing.

The potential applications of the ADDIREEN 400G span multiple high-demand industries. In aerospace, it enables the production of lightweight yet thermally efficient copper components for propulsion systems and avionics. In the electronics industry, it can manufacture intricate heat exchangers, cooling plates, and conductive pathways essential for managing high-performance devices. In the field of new energy vehicles, it supports the creation of critical copper components used in battery and powertrain systems. Data centers, which require advanced thermal management solutions, can also leverage its ability to produce highly efficient copper cooling structures.
