Pine Crest School, a private school in Florida, is leveraging 3DPrinterOS, a leading 3D printing management platform, to enhance its curriculum across two campuses in Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale. Serving a diverse student body from Pre-K through grade 12, Pine Crest aims to be at the forefront of preparing students for the future with cutting-edge technology and innovative learning methods.

3DPrinterOS is a powerful platform that has transformed how students and teachers interact with 3D printing technology. This integration allows for seamless management of 3D printing projects – fostering an environment where creativity and technical skills can flourish.

3D printing projects at Pine Crest include the 5th-grade cell biology project, where students design and print models of cells – enabled by 3DPrinterOS’ ease of use, which allows students to focus on the creative aspects of their projects. The ‘Key-chain Buddies’ project for 3rd graders is another testament to the versatility of 3DPrinterOS. By designing and printing keychains for their counterparts at the other campus, students learn valuable lessons in empathy, collaboration, and design thinking.

Pine Crest’s maker spaces, equipped with an array of 3D printers, are hubs of creativity and technological exploration. This environment encourages students to experiment, innovate, and learn through doing, embodying Pine Crest’s commitment to preparing students for a future where technology plays a central role.
