Today, we are releasing 3dpbm’s first eBook edition, which is published as part of our January 2020 AM Focus. In the eBook, we highlight one of the key adopters of AM technologies: the Automotive Industry.
The automotive industry holds a special place within additive manufacturing. While 3D printing technologies are now broadly used for prototyping in the segment, automotive companies are increasingly turning to AM for production applications. Automotive leaders like Volkswagen, Ford, Jaguar Land Rover and others are working hand-in-hand with additive manufacturing companies to usher the industry into a production-focused era. An era, I should mention, that seeks to benefit all sides.
