3DCeram Sinto introduces new CERAMAKER 900 and metal+ceramic capabilities
Conductive silver printed inside ceramic parts is now possible

3DCeram-Sinto is presenting the new CERAMAKER 900 3D printer, the next, larger and more automated evolution of the original ceramic 3D printers based on FCP (fast ceramic production) technology (a type of stereolithography). CERAMAKER printers are suited to the production of unique functional ceramic parts or small production runs of parts with the same properties as those made using conventional processes.
The system will enable the use of CERAMAKER printers in a more automated production line. With backing from the large Japanese group Sinto, the 3DCeram Sinto group now markets a new generation of hybrid 3D printers. These printers combine multiple 3D printing technologies to enable the production of functional pieces made of multiple materials. These can be different types of ceramics (including Silicon Nitride, ATZ, Silica) or even a combination of ceramic and metal (for example semiconductor silver materials).
3D Ceram Sinto also introduced new ceramic pastes to its 3DMIX line of products: These include silicon nitride (Si3N4), silicon oxide (SiO2), and Zirconia 8Y, which enable the exploration of new opportunities by promising higher performances than the currently available zirconia, alumina and hydroxyapatite materials.
In addition, the company’s Thanks to the on-demand ceramic 3D printing service enables prospective clients to test their own ceramic, including custom formulation support, printing definition and sintering parameters.
