# 3D Systems’ NextDent Jetted Denture Solution EU certified two months ahead of schedule

[3D Systems](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/3d-systems/) has received Class IIa certification under the European Union Medical Device Regulation for its NextDent Jet Base and NextDent Jet Teeth materials. The certification, secured ahead of a previously targeted summer 2026 launch, now clears the path for full commercial availability across EU markets beginning May 4, 2026.

The milestone [follows the company's broader EU MDR full-scope certification in March 2026](https://www.voxelmatters.com/3d-systems-secures-eu-mdr-certification/).

3D Systems positions the NextDent Jetted Denture Solution as [the first monolithic, multi-material jetted denture workflow in the industry](https://www.voxelmatters.com/dental-lab-halves-removable-partial-denture-production-times-3d-systems/). It produces patient-specific dentures in a single print run — fully cured and requiring no additional post-curing steps — with the company stating the process delivers greater accuracy, consistency, and throughput than conventional analog fabrication methods.

The NextDent Jet Base and NextDent Jet Teeth materials are used [in conjunction with 3D Systems' NextDent 300 MultiJet printer](https://www.voxelmatters.com/3d-systems-fda-cleared-nextdent-jetted-denture-solution/).

## Market opportunity and commercial reach

With both US and EU regulatory clearances now in place, 3D Systems claims the combined addressable market covers more than 60 million edentulous patients across the two regions, representing what it described as a multi-billion-dollar opportunity.

European customers purchasing through 3D Systems and its authorized distribution partners will have access to a complete workflow covering hardware, certified materials, software, and application expertise from a single provider.

“Achieving Class IIa MDR certification for our NextDent Jetted Denture Solution is a major milestone that validates the strength of our clinical data, quality systems, and innovation pipeline,” stated Jeffrey Graves, Ph.D., President and Chief Executive Officer of 3D Systems.

“By launching in Europe on May 4, well ahead of our original summer timeline, we are immediately expanding access to this transformative technology for dental labs and clinics across the region. This clearance substantially increases our available addressable market for this high-value platform.

“As adoption accelerates in both the US and Europe, we expect it to drive significant recurring revenue through premium materials while reinforcing our position as the leading full-service provider in digital dentistry.”
