# 3D Spark successfully closes invite-only community funding round

[3D Spark, a startup](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/3d-spark/) developing AI-powered manufacturing optimization, has successfully closed its invite-only community funding round, bringing together a select group of industry leaders, strategic advisors, and investors to support its mission of making industrial production more efficient, transparent, and sustainable.

[Following its €2 million seed funding earlier this year](https://www.voxelmatters.com/3d-spark-secures-e2m-funding-to-revolutionize-ai-driven-manufacturing/), the initiative further strengthens 3D Spark’s network by bringing together individuals with deep technical expertise, strong industry networks, and proven leadership in scaling technology ventures.

“This round was about more than funding - it was about building a community around our mission,” said Ruben Meuth, Founder and CEO of 3D Spark. “We’re honored to have such outstanding leaders from industry, research, and entrepreneurship join us in driving more efficient, sustainable, and digital manufacturing globally.”

This includes: Jens Schumann, Co-founder of Tipp24 (now ZEAL Network SE); Andreas Saar, Former Vice President of Siemens PLM Software; Prof. Dr.-Ing. Claus Emmelmann, Founder of Laser Zentrum Nord (now [Fraunhofer IAPT](https://www.voxelmatters.com/zellerfeld-turns-to-fraunhofer-iapt-to-scale-its-footwear-additive-production/)); Dr. Omar Fergani, Co-founder and CEO of 1000 Kelvin; Dr. Jan Wilkes, Global Head of R&D at Fette Compacting, and Former Global Head of R&D at SLM Solutions; Jan Peter Schween, Co-founder and Head of Sales at SWARM Biotactics, and Former VP of Sales EMEA at Dedrone; Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jens Telgkamp, Professor at HAW Hamburg, and Former R&T Lead of Additive Manufacturing at Airbus; Dr. Karsten Klinger, CFO of iC Consult Group, and Former CEO of Service Layers; and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jens Wulfsberg, Head of the Manufacturing Engineering Laboratory at Helmut Schmidt University, and Former R&D Lead at Olympus.
