3D printing startup 3D Gloop! wins $50,000 Arch Grant

Locally owned and operated company 3D Gloop! has been announced as one of only 19 companies to receive a 2020 Arch Grant out of thousands of applicants worldwide. 3D Gloop! produces 3D printing adhesives unrivaled in their bond strength, ease of use, and versatility.

Designed to adhere to even the toughest plastics in the industry, such as PLA and PETG, 3D Gloop! products are currently carried by some of the largest 3D printing resellers globally. The Arch Grant comes with $50,000 equity-free cash and professional support services for the year, to help support 3D Gloop!’s growth plans. This will allow the company to produce new formulas for exciting new applications and upgrade current manufacturing processes, as well as enabling the introduction of their products at an industrial level.

“3D Gloop! aims to be synonymous with the word ‘sticky’ and provide a complete toolbox of products and solutions for 3D printing,” said multidisciplinary Engineers and lifelong friends, Andrew Martinussen and Andrew Mayhall, founders of 3D Gloop!.

Andrew Martinussen has a Mechanical Engineering degree from SIUE and is a first generation American following the American dream. Andrew Mayhall is a serial entrepreneur with expansive experience with startups. He also has nearly ten years of experience with Mechanical, Electrical, and Chemical Engineering.

3D Gloop! is a bootstrapped startup that began as a passion project and has experienced explosive growth, delivering over 14,000 products to 47 countries worldwide in just two short years.
