3D Printing Service Providers AM Focus 2020 eBook

Introducing our eighth eBook edition

Stay up to date with everything that is happening in the wonderful world of AM via our LinkedIn community.

Over the past several months, we have covered many areas of the additive manufacturing industry in our eBook publications, from automotive and aerospace to medical and materials. In this edition, our eighth AM Focus eBook, we dive into the topic of AM Service Providers.

Service bureaus play a fundamental role in the additive manufacturing industry: without them it is questionable how far we would even be in terms of adoption. Whether they are large technology-agnostic AM service providers or specialized service bureaus, AM services create a bridge between technology developers and end-users and play a formative role in application development. In short, they facilitate the implementation of 3D printing across many industries by providing access to 3D printing hardware (without capital investments), as well as skills and support.

In this eBook, we present a collection of curated content pertaining to the diverse world of AM services. This content includes an in depth analysis of the industry’s leading AM service providers, an exclusive interview with materials developer and AM service Carpenter Additive, a case study from Italian company Namitech and a look at what we consider to be some of the most interesting up-and-coming AM services from across the globe.

3dpbm’s eBook can be viewed by scrolling through the document above or downloaded for viewing on your favorite mobile device. In our effort to maintain an open discourse and open access to AM news, the publication is free to access. We at 3dpbm have been eagerly following the progress of service providers in additive manufacturing for years, and are pleased to put the segment in the spotlight in a new, reader-friendly way.
