3D Printing Corporation will distribute AON-M2 3D printers in Japan

Yokohama, Japan-based 3D Printing Corporation Co., Ltd signed a general agency contract to start equipment sales and contract manufacturing services for AON3D‘s high-performance plastic 3D printer AON-M2.

3D printing has been introduced not only as a prototype but also as manufacturing technology for end-use parts and is being used in industrial applications. However, the manufacturing of industrial parts can be difficult with a general-purpose 3D printer, and there is an increasing demand for industrial-specification and inexpensive 3D printers.

Therefore, in order to provide cheap and industrial 3D printers to the Japanese manufacturing industry, we have signed a Japanese exclusive agency contract with AON3D, a Canadian 3D printer manufacturer. This is the first agency contract in Asia. Under this agreement, we will start equipment sales and contract manufacturing services for AON3D’s AON-M2 super engineering plastic 3D printer.

“The AON-M2 3D prints thermoplastics for any FFF 3D printer with a best-in-class thermal management system”, said Yoichiro Koga, CTO (Chief Technology Officer) of 3D Printing Corporation regarding this agreement. “A deep understanding of the practice-oriented design and a qualified approach from both a soft and a hardware perspective. We believe that our partnership with AON3D, which created the M2 and completed this wonderful device, is a big step for us 3D Printing Corporation.”

The AON-M2 is an industrial 3D printer that can use super engineering plastics. It is inexpensive as a super engineering plastic 3D printer, supports large-scale modeling, and achieves high productivity with an independently operating dual head. Super engineering plastics are high-performance plastics with properties such as high heat resistance and high strength and are mainly used for industrial purposes such as the automobile industry and the aerospace industry. Since AON-M2 has excellent temperature control, a wide range of materials can be molded including super engineering plastics such as PEEK and ULTEM™. In addition, since two heads that operate independently are mounted, it is possible to model complex parts using support materials.

3D Printing Corporation will promote 3D printing operations in the Japanese manufacturing industry by selling AON-M2 equipment and providing contract manufacturing services using AON-M2. In addition to manufacturing, we also utilize our manufacturing infrastructure facilities to provide services that combine manufacturing, design, quality control, and post-processing steps according to customer’s wishes.
