# Composite Images 3D print spectacular Nespresso Vertuo window display

Working with graphic studio Construction Effects for Nespresso, Australia-based digital design studio [Composite Images](https://www.3dprintingbusiness.directory/company/composite-images/) 3D printed two incredible oversized milk splashes to celebrate the new Vertuo machines.

The studio created two models: the larger of the two was displayed in the Nespresso George Street, Sydney store window, while the smaller one was placed in the window of the Chatswood Nespresso boutique. The goal was to accurately represent the impressive splashes from spilled milk, giving the static 3D print a dynamic appearance.

The final 3D model was supplied by Construction Effects, a local 3D graphics and special FX specialist. The team at composite images determined how to best splice the file in order to provide optimal results while printing. This meant printing both of the splashes in numerous segments to ensure no detail was left out.

This also means assessing the complexity and stability requirements of the model to determine which printing mode and speed will work best. The image here on the right can provide a clearer understanding of the level of detail, depth and height that was achieved for the display in the Chatswood boutique (above).

For optimal results on this particular project, Composite Images worked closely with Construction Effects, the studio that provided the 3D file. Once the printing was completed, Construction Effects also completed all finishing on the model. This is an effective way to collaborate with other industry professionals and leverage their own skills to obtain the best possible final result.

These 3D printed milk splashes were made more challenging by their "up and down", lumpy and rounded off geometry. But then again that made it a challenging project for Composite Images and provided a real opportunity to show off their expertise and experience shine through, with out-of-the-box methods, including the use of [Massivit](https://www.3dprintingbusiness.directory/company/massivit/)'s large-format 3D printing solutions and technology.
